behind Royal Daughter Designs. This is me:

lover, laundry procrastinator, sweet tea junkie, and high-heel hater.
One thing I’ve noticed in the blogging community is that sometimes we can get a little carried away with superfluous posts. I wrote a post a couple of months ago about the difference between blogging and posting. Blogging is about writing. Being intentional to compose quality content for others to read. While there’s nothing wrong with blog hops, giveaways, and sponsored posts, there are times when those types of posts take over, and the writing gets left behind.
That’s why I created Desire to Inspire. The purpose of Desire to Inspire is to hold each other accountable to be intentional in inspiring others. It’s not about what inspires us, but what we can do to inspire others.
Desire to Inspire is designed to hold us accountable to embrace our roles as leaders in the blogging community (no matter your size!), to pay attention to our content, and to cultivate a spirit of vision and inspiration among our followers.
You see, it doesn’t matter which category of blogger you are – if you desire to inspire your readers on a deeper, more personal level, please link up with me. If you’re a fashion blogger, will you commit once a week to focus on your words rather than your pictures?
